So I woke up this morning and started scanning .us drop lists, for those of you who don’t know I scan them with my eyes and not a program to filter keywords and metrics, it may not be the best method but it works for me. I’m not sure if I just hadn’t fully woke up or if I was in a bad mood but it seemed as if there was a whole bunch of junky names on the lists. Now I know why they call it a “drop list”. I decided to compile a list of domain names that you shouldn’t register under any circumstances. Advance apologies to you if this was your name or a name you thought of buying:

R-U-INHOMES.US- I am confused with this name. Is it supposed to be RUIN Homes? Or is it “Are you in homes”? Either way I am sure they produced z-e-r-o sales and z-e-r-o leads.

SHOP2UDROP.US- ShopTILudrop.us is alright. I personally wouldn’t build a brand around this name…but apparently you will….

SHOP2YOUDROP.US- As if one crappy name wasn’t enough.

MICROSFT.US- This was either a great move on the owners part by deleting this name with 7 months of registration left or he was forced to…Anyone want to give the over/under of when this name is registered again? I set it at 3 days.

HIPHOPLENDING.US- Seriously, are you going to take a loan from this group. When I read this name I truly had a Laugh Out Loud moment!!

RR-RULES.US- The stuttering disciplinarian.

OASISINTEGRATEDPHILOSOPHYCOLLEGE.US- You really get a BS when you graduate from this school.

SUPPORTOURTROOPSAFTERWARDS.US -Nice thought, horrible execution. Let’s see who registered this name…. Oh, Barack Obama, that explains it.

UNITEDSTATESCONSTITUTIONALLAWENFORCEMENTAGENCY.US -Because I have nothing better to do I checked the Whois and found that this name is registered until 2015 but it is still in pending delete status. What a waste of money.

UNITEDSTATESCONSTITUTIONALLAWENFORCEMENTORGANIZATION.US -And the hits keep coming! There are about 6 variations of this name on the pending delete list.

LETSCELEBR8.US -I thought I would find a joyous name to end this article.
